Itinerary
DAY 1: EASTER ISLAND Reception on Mataveri airport with flower garlands and transport to the hotel.
DAY 2: RANO RARAKU AND ANAKENA BEACH (Rapa Nui Culture) A full day excursion, including Hanga Te’e bay, and the not restored platform of Ahu Vaihu, known as “the moai factory”, on the Rano Raraku volcano, ending on Anakena beach. Return to the hotel on Hanga Roa. (B,L)
DAY 3: ORONGO (Birdman Culture) On half day tour, the extinct volcano Rano Kau will be visited, finally the travel reaches the ceremonial town of Orongo. Before returning to town, the Kai Tangata cave, with its sea birds paintings will be visited. (B)
DAY 4: AHU AKIVI (Rapa Nui Culture) Half day excursion, including the Ahu Akivi and the Ana Te Pahu cave, a great lava chamber created by the volcanic activity. (B)
DAY 5: EASTER ISLAND The flight departs after a short transfer to the Mataveri airport. Farewell with sea shells necklaces. (B)
